Calling all mermaids! Join us under the sea for a “fin-tastic” film, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, on September 27th. The Capitol Theatre is proud to premiere this beloved Disney classic for our Family Movie Night Series.
Originally released in 1989, The Little Mermaid was the beginning of the Disney Renaissance and ushered in a fresh and advanced animation, artwork, and catchy musical scenes. Since then, Ariel and the gang have had many reproductions and re-releases both in theaters and on home videos. In fact, there are rumors of a live-version coming to theaters in the next year! One thing is for certain, this is a classic that even Ursula loves.
The Capitol Theatre will have a food truck under the marquee for a quick and easy dinner with the family from 5 – 6:30. Concessions will also be available throughout the movie. Doors open at 5:30, and the movie begins at 6:30.
