A former TV sportscaster, Bill Boronkay can easily perform in almost any surrounding. Bill's pretty much-done everything from a formal corporate event to a church fundraiser to a private party. Normally a PG13 comedian, Boronkay can go cleaner or dirtier, depending on what the situation calls for. Bill can perform his normal crowd-pleasing show but also enjoys customizing much of his material to your crowd and event. Son of immigrants, the former broadcaster worked up the industry ladder and was a runner-up for an anchor position on ESPN's SportsCenter. Continuing to work and host various television programs, Boronkay started performing stand-up comedy on the side. Before long, he left his television career and moved to New York to pursue comedy full-time. Bill's been seen on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, SportsTime Ohio, Fox Sports Ohio, and Time Warner Cable SportsChannel. He's also been heard on ESPN Radio, the nationally syndicated, "Bob & Tom Show" and various radio stations nationwide. Showing his versatility, Boronkay was a finalist in the WNCX-FM Classic Comedian Contest and the 2014 Clean Comedy Challenge. Bill was also a featured performer at the 2015 Christian Comedy Association Conference.
