A man tries to rise in his company by letting its executives use his apartment for trysts, but complications and a romance of his own ensue.

Baxter, a lowly office drone who has a sideline in renting out his apartment for affairs his company bosses are having--with the promise of a rise in the corporate later for Baxter. But when the headman in charge rents Baxter’s apartment, he learns his mistress is Fran Kubelik, an elevator operator at the massive Manhattan office building and the girl of his dreams. Baxter soon finds himself at a crossroads between his career and the woman he loves.
